Two terrorists of Manipur-based outfit KCP arrested
New Delhi, July 26 (UNI) The Delhi Police have arrested two dreaded activists of the Manipur-based terrorist outfit Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) from Azadpur in North Delhi.
Based on a tip off about their presence in Delhi, a team of the Delhi Police special cell arrested the two KCP terrorists, involved in many terrorist activities in Manipur, from Azadpur Mandi yesterday.
The two, including KCP chairman Mangol and its Vice Chairman Oinam Suranjoy Singh, are involved in many terrorist activities and extortion from Government and private agencies in Manipur.
In May this year, the KCP kidnapped a zonal education officer from Bishnupur and released him after paying a ransom of Rs 5 lakh. Last month, he demanded Rs 50 lakh from various cement companies and directed them to pay in instalments.
The duo had recently come to Delhi to avoid arrest.
