Sonal Dabral appointed as Executive Creative Director of BatesAsia

Mumbai, July 26 (UNI) Marketing and communications major BatesAsia has appointed Sonal Dabral as Executive Creative Director (Regional Asia-Pacific) and Chairman, Bates David Enterprise.

He will replace current Chairman Mohammad Khan, who is retiring, in October, said a company release.

On his new appointment, Mr Dabral said ''I am excited about working for such an ambitious network as BatesAsia and look forward to taking up the challenges.'' A graduate of National Institute of Design (NID), Mr Dabral has won a number of awards including Cannes, Clio, D&AD, One Show, AdFest and Spikes during his 15 year career.

He started his stint with Lintas, and has worked with Ogilvy Asia-Pacific and Olgivy India.

BatesAsia is the world's largest marketing communications network and a part of WPP, a global communications services group. The company focusses on the growing demands of Asian business and has 21 offices in 15 countries across Asia-Pacific, added the release.
