RPF's departmental exam answer sheets seized

Ratlam, MP, July 26 (UNI) In view of complaints of heavy corruption in departmental examination for promotion of head constables to Assistant Sub-Inspectors in the Western Railway Police Force, the Vigilance Department has seized answer sheets of the examinees.

The examination was conducted on June 9 at Bhaynder sub-town in Mumbai.

Vigilance Department sources said about 94 head constables had given the examination.

Ratlam's Divisional Security Commandant Shashi Kumar had been appointed as the Chairman of the Recruitment Board.

A Vigilance Department team led by Sanjeev Bhargav seized the answers booklets from Mr Kumar's office.

The departmental examinations would be held again if the complaints regarding corruption were found to be true, sources added.
