Rajasthan CM takes part in Yagna for world peace
Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu, July 26 (UNI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindhia today took part in a special yagna for world peace, at the famous Kamakshi Amman temple here.
Ms Scindhia, who arrived here earlier in the day, also offered prayers to the Goddess. The temple authorities welcomed her to the temple and offered 'prasadam'.
Later, she went to the Kanchi Sankara mutt and took blessings from the junior pontiff, Vijayendra Saraswati.
Elaborate security arrangements were in place, in view of the VIP's visit.
