One killed, 2 injured in roof collapse in Punjab

Ludhiana, July 26 (UNI) One person was killed and two others injured when the roof of a building under construction collapsed at Palm City enclave in the city this evening, police here said.

The incident occured when the owner of the building Tejinderpal Singh alongwith two of his friends were examining the structure. Rescue workers managed to pull out all the three from under the debris, police said.

However Tejinderpal died while on the way to the hospital. The other two were admitted to the hospital.
