Karnataka CM would stick to his promise on power transfer

Mysore, July 26 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumraswamy today said one must wait for the time to come for change of power in the coalition government till October 3.

Talking to newspersons at a helipad here, he said many statements by Janata Dal Ministers and other leaders on the power sharing issue were being issued but he would not worry about this.

The Chief Minister said he would not pay attention to rumours by political leaders on power sharing issues but would stick to the promise he had made during the formation of the government with BJP.

Mr Kumarswamy refused to make any further comments on the issue.

Referring to his recent New Delhi visit, Mr Kumraswamy said the state government had sought Rs 1500 crore for the flood relief work.

A Central team was expected to visit the state shortly to study the situation, he said.

Mr Kumaraswamy along with Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar and Leader of the Opposition of both the Houses Dharam Singh and H K Patil arrived here to participate in the centenary celebrations of the cooperatives movement in the state.
