India lodges protest against Pak encroachment
Jaisalmer, July 26: India has lodged its strong protest against Pakistan's encroachment on Indian territory, during the border meet between Border Security Force officials and Pakistan Rangers, which concluded yesterday in Munabao region.
Charged Pakistan with encroaching on at least 150 yards inside the Indian side and even started construction. Pakistani officials, however, assured that they would keep it in mind in the future.
The Indian side was led by Deputy Inspector General, Jaisalmer sector, Kanaram Patel and the Pakistani side was led by Sindh Rangers Deputy Director General Khushnud Mahmud.
Mr Patel said the meeting also discussed infiltration, returning those crossing the borders by mistake, making joint patrolling more effective and other issues.
