GlaxoSmithkline consumer Q2 net up by 36.89 pc

New Delhi, July 26: GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare Ltd today said its net profit soared by 36.89 per cent at Rs 42.3 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 compared to Rs 30.9 crore for the same quarter a year ago.

Total income also increased by 17.71 per cent to Rs 332.2 crore for Q1 FY07 from Rs 282.2 crore for the same period during the previous fiscal, said a statement.
