Cummins Q1 net up 21per cent to Rs 64 cr
New Delhi, July 26: Designer and manufacturer of diesel engines, Cummins India Ltd today said its net profit incresed by 21 per cent to Rs 64.02 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 50.78 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
Its total income has increased by 28 per cent to Rs 565.49 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 compared to Rs 407.7 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
The Cummin stock at 0048 hrs was up 1.51 per cent to Rs 389.25, an increase of 5.80 points.
