Armed policemen try entering temple premises
Khajuraho, MP, July 26 (UNI) A tense atmosphere was created when two police jawans tried to enter into the premises of western group of temples along with handcuffed criminals in this famous tourist spot, police said today.
Uttar Pradesh police's jawans J S Prasad and Anuj Singh were returning after arresting two culprits from Indore when they wished to visit the temple.
Both entered the temple premises along with their weapons and criminals.
Though security guards of the temple objected, the policemen did not pay heed forcing police administration to call police.
The police jawans came out of the temple but not before a heated argument took place.
No case was registered by police.
