Armed policemen try entering Khajuraho temple forcefully
Khajuraho, MP, July 26 (UNI) Tension prevailed here today when two police jawans tried to enter into the premises of the temple along with two handcuffed criminals, police said.
Though security guards of the temple objected, the policemen did not pay heed, forcing temple administration to call the police.
Uttar Pradesh police jawans J S Prasad and Anuj Singh were returning after arresting two culprits from Indore when they wished to visit the temple.
Both entered the temple premises along with their weapons and criminals. This led to commotion between jawans and temple authority.
The police jawans came out of the temple but not before much heated argument.
No case has been registered so far by the police.
