Youth concocts loot for evading payment to creditor
Varanasi, July 25 (UNI) A youth in the Mirzamurad area here has concocted a loot drama to evade payment of long pending dues to a creditor.
Bhual Sharma (32), an employee in a courier company concocted the loot drama late last night with the sole intention of evading the payment of Rs 60,000 to one Prayag Singh, police said here today.
A resident of Mongalabir village, Bhual had late last night filed a criminal complaint at the Mirzamurad police station alleging that Rs 60,000 were looted from him by four motor cycle borne criminals in the Shivrampur Chatti area.
As part of the investigation, the policemen accompanied Bhual to the Shivrampur Chatti area and asked him to show the spot where he had been looted.
When Bhual failed to give the required information he was taken for interrogation during which he admitted concocting the loot story only to evade payment of Rs 60,000 to Prayag Singh, which he had to settle yesterday.
The courier company employee has been arrested and further investigations were on.
In a similar incident in the neighbouring Chandauli district yesterday, a young woman Sonam Jaiswal had concocted a story of her gang rape only to get rid of husband Lakshman and subsequently flee with paramour Sonu.
