Sultry day with minimal rainfall keeps temperature rising in Kolkata

Kolkata, Jul 25 (UNI) A sultry and overcast sky with minimal rainfall caused discomfort to the people.

The maximum temperature was pegged at 32.4 degrees Celsius and the minimum was at 27.3 degrees Celsius, Meteorological office said.

Relative humidity was recorded maximum at 90 per cent while the minimum was at 65 per cent.

Met department measured .4mm of rainfall in some parts of the city.

Alipur weather office predicted partly cloudy sky with possibility of rains or thunder showers in the city and its suburbs during the next 24 hours.
