Reliance Capital Q1 net up 219.93 per cent

New Delhi, July 25: Reliance Capital Ltd today said the net profit of the company grew by 219.93 per cent at Rs 302.43 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 94.53 crore during the corresponding period a year ago.

The total income also increased from Rs 132.42 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs 513.77 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2007, a statement said.

The Group posted a net profit of Rs 325.26 crore in Q1FY07 as compared to Rs 113.03 crore during Q1FY06.

It also recorded a rise in total income from Rs 356.19 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs 1,176.20 crore during the same quarter this year.
