Minorities to get subsidy to have toilets in Karntaka

Gulbarga, July 25 (UNI) The State Minority Corporation will provide financial assistance to the selected 2,500 families of minorities across the state for constructing toilets.

Informing this in a press conference here today state minorities corporatijon president Anwar Manpadi deplored that 44 per cent of minorities had families had no toilets facility.

He said that the corporation would provide rs five thousand which includes Rs 1,250 subsidy to the beneficiaries of the scheme to who opts to construct toilets.

He also disclosed that 28,211 persons have availed benefits under various schmes, being implemented by the state minority corporation.
