Minorities to get subsidy to construct toilets in Karnataka

Gulbarga, July 25 (UNI) The Karnataka State Minorities Corporation will provide financial assistance to 2,500 families of minorities across the state for constructing toilets.

Informing this in a press conference here today, Corporation President Anwar Manpadi deplored that 44 per cent of minorities had no toilet facility.

He said the Corporation would provide Rs 5,000 which included Rs 1,250 subsidy, to the beneficiaries of the scheme.

He said 28,211 persons have availed benefits under various schemes, being implemented by the Corporation.
