Ispat records Q1 profit at Rs 8.37 crore

New Delhi, July 25: Leading steel maker Ispat Industries today said it has posted a net profit of Rs 8.37 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to a net loss of Rs 111.49 crore in the same period a year ago.

The total income also rose from Rs 1,680.41 crore in Q1FY06 to Rs 1,859.26 crore during Q1FY07, a press release said.
