I'll resume film career, says Monica Bedi

Hyderabad, July 25: Emerging out of the Chenchalguda prison today after being released on bail in a fake passport case, underworld don Abu Salem's companion and starlet Monica Bedi said Bollywood and Tollywood were ''offering roles'' and she was interested in resuming her film career.

A jubiliant Monica, talking to mediapersons outside the jail, said, ''I have learnt lessons from this episode in my life and I will be very careful in the future.'' ''I am sure that such incidents will not repeat in my life again,'' she said.

Ruling out plans to get married at this stage, Monica said, ''I will concentrate on my career and am very confident about it.

I will come back to Hyderabad to act in a Bollywood film.'' She said she wanted to be with her family for some days.

''Thereafter, I will consider the film roles, which were being offered by the Telugu and Hindi film industry. I am thankful to god, now I am very happy,'' she added.
