AP to set up 16 "Agama Pathasalas"
Tirupati, July 25: Andhra Pradesh Endowment Commissioner P Sundarkumar today said 16 ''Agama Pathasalas'' will be established in the state soon.
Speaking at the inaugural function of Andhra Pradesh Archaka training classes at Sri Venkateswara Employees Training Academy (SVETA) here, Mr Sundarkumar said the government was planning to establish five natural cure centres in the state.
TTD Trust Board Chairman B Karunakara Reddy said the temples were the embodiment of the great culture of the nation.
He said the SVETA would be renamed as National Institute of Temple Administration (NITA) shortly for providing training to 'archakas'.
