Anganwadi employees demand sops on par with Government Staff

Tiruchirapalli, July 25 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Anganwadi Employees Association today urged the State Government to provide them concessions on par with the Government staff.

In a resolution adopted in their State Conference here, the association urged the Government to regularise the services of Anganwadi Employees, in addition to pay structure, pension benefits and holidays.

The association also urged the Government to give priority to Anganwadi employees in recruitment.

About 1000 members of the association from various parts of the State had participated in the Conference.
