Aiyar to review DoNER projects on Nagaland visit
Kohima, Jul 25: Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) Mani Shankar Aiyar will arrive here on a three-day visit from July 30 next to take stock of the progress made in the DoNER projects in the state.
According to Nagaland Commissioner T N Mannen here today, the Union Minister would arrive on Monday and if the weather permitted, he would visit the remote Tuensang district the same day to oversee the various projects undertaken and funded by DoNER.
On Tuesday, he would visit the Mon district to see the DoNER funded projects. He will also meet senior bureaucrats of the state government to review various developmental projects of the state.
On August one next, he would inaugurate the newly constructed Nagaland Commissioner's Office at the Old Secretariat Complex here in the morning. He will then leave for Dimapur to visit the Bamboo Research Centre and the Referral Hospital there and review the various stages of development of the projects.
