Speaker directs printing of all answers in Q-A booklet

Bhopal, July 24 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Ishwardas Rohani today issued directions to ensure that answers to all the questions are printed in the question-answer booklet.

Mr Rohani gave the direction to Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra after the matter was raised by main opposition Congress members during the Question Hour.

As soon as the proceedings got underway, Mr Indrajeet Kumar and Mr Sajjan Singh Verma (both Congress) pointed out that 25 starred questions were scheduled to be taken up during the Question Hour but it was printed that information was being gathered for 12 questions.

He said this caused problems for the members, as it was becoming a regular phenomenon.

Mr Rohani clarified that answers to the given questions were already dispatched to the members and he did not see any inconvenience. However, he was sorry if members faced any inconvenience.

He directed Mr Mishra to get answers to all the questions printed as far as possible.

The Speaker also directed the government to ensure that dearth of administrative staff did not come in the way of implementation of various government schemes, including the Employment Guarantee Scheme in tribal-dominated Anuppur district.
