Bangalore, July 24: Indian Doctor Mohammed Haneef cried with joy as he embraced the photo of his new born while in solitary confinement in Brisbane charged with wrecklessly supporting the failed Glasgow International airport. Haneef met with a Kin today as Imran Siddiqui who flew out from Bangalore to extend moral support to him.

Haneef's wiufe Firdous Arshia told newsmen at her residence that Siddiqui met the Indian doctor at the Wolston Correctional Centre near Brisbane. The emotion charged meeting lasted for about one hour, she said.

"Imran told me that Haneef cried with joy when he saw the photograph of his less than a month old child Hania. Haneef was in good health and Imran assured me that my husband was mentally strong to cope up with the testing situation. He would make efforts to meet Haneef again later," she said.

Firdous however said that her cousin did not mention anything about the Haneef's dairy jottings which had created a major controversy in Australia.

The Australian Federal Police (AFP) were accused of allegedly entering names of Kafeel and Sabeel Ahmed, his two cousins and who are also suspected to have involved in the attack. Haneef had come to the rescue of AFP saying that they had not entered any names in his dairy.

Firdous said it was a emotional reunion between Imran and Haneef when they met earlier in the day and both had cried after seeing each other. Mr Imram told Haneef that they knew that he was innocent and justice would be done.
