DG SAI removes Sinha as Secretary of Sports Authority

Patiala, July 24 (UNI) Sports Authority of India (SAI) Director General (DG) Rattan P Wattal has removed B K Sinha as secretary of SAI with immediate effect.

Confirming the report here today, NIS sources said that Mr Sinha, a Haryana cadre IPS officer has been asked 'not to come to office tomorrow'. Mr Sinha sits at the SAI office in New Delhi.

Mr Sinha will cease to hold charge as Executive Director (ED) of NIS here after his removal from SAI.

Mr Sinha is a member of the Technical Committee of the Atheltics Federation of India (AFI).
