Toll rises to 66 in rain-related deaths in Mumbai

Mumbai, July 23 (UNI) One more person succumbed to fever today, taking the toll to 66 in rain-related deaths since the onset of monsoon in the city.

A 40-year-old woman who was admitted to Kasturba hospital on Sunday, succumbed to fever, hospital officials said.

In the 24 hours ending at 0800 hrs, 1,161 people were admitted to all the 24 Brihanmumbai Muicipal Corporation-run hospitals and 209 have been discharged.
