Sacrifice of STF personnel will not go waste: DGP

Banda, July 23 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Vikram Singh claimed that the sacrifice of STF personnel, who lost their lives during an encounter with Thokia yesterday, will not go waste and the terror of notorious dacoits would soon come to an end.

Addressing the newspersons, Mr Singh said the demise of the brave personnel would always be remembered and an operation would be initiated to eliminate the terror of dacoits in the state.

The operation would be headed by Additional DGP Brijlal and PAC is in considerable strength deployed for the purpose, he added.

Besides, attempts are being made to establish the better co-odination of STF with the neighbouring states.
