Oppn demands debate on death of tribal in police firing
Bhopal, July 23 (UNI) The main Opposition Congress today demanded a discussion in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly on the death of a tribal in police firing in Jhabua district on June 15.
The issue was raised by Leader of Opposition Jamuna Devi during the Zero Hour.
Ms Devi said an adjournment motion has been served in this regard.
She also demanded discussion on alleged beating up of Congress workers by some BJP workers in Indore last week. An adjournment motion has been served in this regard also.
Speaker Ishwardas Rohani urged the Opposition members to remain calm and asked them to discuss the matter separately with him.
The members calmed down and the proceedings were carried forward.
