NTPC to enhance plant capacity to 3,260 MW

New Delhi, July 23: Power major National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) today said the total installed capacity of Vindhyachal Super Thermal Power Project will be increased to 3,260 mw, with the commencement of commercial operation at the unit.

The 500 mw unit-II at Vindhyachal Super Thermal Power Project, has started commercial operation from July 15, 2007, a statement said.
