Bhopal, July 23 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Water Resource Minister Anoop Mishra today announced in the Assembly that cases related to land acquisition and compensation of Bansagar project would be disposed within three months by holding special camps.
After the matter was raised by Mr Indrajeet Kumar (Congress) during the Question Hour, Mr Mishra said land acquisitions-related cases were 15 years old and several old farmers had died.
Special camps would be organised in the presence of people's representative for disposal of these cases.
He said direction has been issued for testing the quality of construction work of the canal under this project.
When the matter related to alleged irregularities in promotion of Sub-engineers as Assistant Engineers was raised by Dr I M P Verma (BSP), Mr Mishra said the matter would be enquired by a capable officer.
Prima facie, it appeared that irregularities had taken place.
When the matter related to alleged irregularities in 'Janani Surakhsha Yojna' in Morena district was raised, Health Minister Ajay Vishnoi said action would be taken against four concerned doctors.
He assured that all the complaints related to this matter would be looked into.
