Child dies trying to imitate television serial character

Shivpuri, MP, July 23 (UNI) A 12-year-old boy died while trying to imitate stunts of characters in a television serial at his home in Pechchor Sub-Divisional headquarters in this district, police said today.

Kuldeep's parents had gone to their native village Ghatwara leaving their three children behind at home.

Kuldeep, who often used to imitate characters of children television serials, tied one end of a rope to a piece of wood, looped a noose around his neck and got on to a stool.

As he jumped in air, the noose tightened and he gave a scream.

His brother reached there and called neighbours but it was too late.
