Calicut Airport to open International Terminal on July 25

Kozhikode, Jul 23 (UNI) The newly-built 15,000 sqm International Arrival Terminal of the Calicut International Airport at Karippur near here will be functional from July 25.

Three modern and user-friendly conveyor belts were available at the new terminal for the comfort and convenience of arriving passengers, Airport Director R Veeraswamy said in a release here today.

Mr Veeraswamy said adequate number of escalators and elevators were also positioned at appropirate places inside and outside the terminal.

The Director said domestic passengers would also utilise the facilities at the International departure and arrival Terminals till renovation and moderanisation of domestic terminal was completed.

The International Departure Terminal of the airport was operational from May 14 this year, the release added.
