Woman accuses daughter in law of beating her after drinking liquor

Nahan, July 22 (UNI) A woman in a town in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh has accused her daughter-in-law of beating her after drinking liquor and also threatening to implicate her in a false criminal case.

Asha Devi, in her complaint to Paonta DSP Shubra Tiwari, has accused her drunk daughter-in-law Neelam of slapping her in front of her guests after she told Neelam to prepare tea for them yesterday morning.

Neelam was not only drunk when she slapped me but also threatened to implicate me in a false criminal case, she said.

The Paonta DSP while confirming the incident said that a case has been registered and investigations were on to ascertain the truth.
