Two killed in auto collision

Eluru, July 22(UNI) Two people, including a women were killed and another injured when a auto in which they were travelling collided with another auto at a causeway in Marlagudem- Markandeyapuram villages in West Godavari district late last night.

Police said the mishap occurred when they were proceeding to Jangareddigudem, while the other auto was coming in the opposite direction.

The deceased were identified as Ms Kalapala Kumari (40), who died on the spot and another unidentified 30-year-old succumbed to injuries at Jangareddigudem hospital, while the injured was undergoing treatment.

Efforts were on to trace the absconding auto drivers.

A case had been registered and invstigation was underway, police added.
