Torrential rains continue in Patna

Patna, July 22 (UNI) Life went out of gear in Bihar as torrential rains continued since past few days in the state.

Several remote areas were inundated while the low lying urban areas here were waterlogged making the life horrible.

Knee to waist deep water with filth and garbages were flowing at several areas here, including Kankarbagh, Rajvanshinagar, S K Puri, Boring road, S K Nagar, Ashok Rajpath and Kadamkuan.

The office goers faced hard time to reach their offices in some of the roads in S K Nagar, where a few prominent media offices were located.

The rain water entered the ground floors of houses located in the low lying areas of the state capital causing inconveinence.

Meanwhile, local met office here said the city had recorded 40 mm of rainfall every day since the past five to six days.

The weatherman also predicted more showers during the next 24 hours.
