Three children were missing from Day Care Centre

Kancheepuram, Jul 22 (UNI) Three children, including two girls, were missing from the 'Day Care Centre' in this district.

Police said based on a complaint lodged by the Supervisor of the Centre that the children were missing from last evening, a police team were on the hunt to trace them.

The parents Shankar and Shanthi, hailing from Perungattur in Tiruvannamalai District had admitted their children to the Centre on July 17 due to financial constraints.

The children were identified as Sumitra(10), Kanniammal(8) and Dharma(7).

A case had been registered and investigation was underway, police added.
