Three arrested for duping at NSCBI airport

Barrackpore, Jul 22 (UNI) Airport police arrested at least three people for duping a man into giving his credit card to purchase air tickets.

However, the arrested claimed that they had bought the tickets through cash from a city-based travel agent.

Police here today said Sk Shaeb of Park Circus and Indrajit Roy of Tiljala area were arrested last night from NSCBI airport. They were flying to New Delhi by a Deccan Airlines flight.

Police arrested them following a complaint lodged by Somnath Sadhukhan that he was duped of his money from the bank mis-utilising his credit card number.

During investigation police also arrested one Javed Akhtar, a Bhubaneshwar bound passenger, who had also utilised the credit card.

Search was on to nab the travel agent, who sold tickets to the accused.
