Teej celebrated at Punjab CMs residence

Chandigarh, July 22 (UNI) Teej- the festival of Punjabi women to welcome the month of Saawan, was celebrated in traditional spirit at Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal's residence here today.

The distinguished guests including Mrs Jean Rodrigues, the wife of the Governor and Mrs Chautala wife of former Haryana Chief Minister Om Parkash Chautala. The guests were welcomed by the host of the event, Mrs Surinder Kaur Badal, wife of the Chief Minister.

To entertain the guests, many cultural items including Punjabi songs and Gidha were presented by the artists.
