SLCL infuses Rs 264 cr in its Malwa plant

New Delhi, July 22: Riding on an expansion spree, Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn Ltd (SLCL) has invested Rs 264 crore for production of denim, terry towels and wider width processing fabric at its Malwa plant.

The company targets a turnover of Rs 800 crore this fiscal and Rs 1,000 cr in 2008-09 by maximising businesses, a statement said.

It is finalising its order book and has recently accepted an order of about five lakh pieces of terry towels from LI and Flung.

SLCL is engaged in the field of microdot fusible interlining fabrics, PC suiting, camouflage fabrics, industrial and the institutional segment including nuclear bio-chemical fabrics, infra red protective fabrics.

The company is in the process of issuing GDR/FCCB worth 20 million dollars. Its international buyers include Walmart, LI and Flung, Spring, IKEA.
