Railway employee beaten to death in Haryana

Ambala, July 22 (UNI) A Railway employee was beaten to death by a group of labourers at the Railway hospital here last night, police today said.

According to the police, the victim, Ajay Singh was beaten to death with iron rods after a heated argument with a group of labourers present in the hospital. He had gone to the hospital for treatment of some ailment.

The labourers who were working in the Railway colony caught hold of Ajay and after dragging him into a room in the hospital premises, beat him with iron rods. After he fell unconscious he was thrown out of the room.

The police after being informed of the matter arrested four of the employees and also recovered the iron rods used in the crime.
