Legal awareness essential for common man: Chief Justice

Bokaro, Jul 22 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Justice M Karpagvinagayam today said the judiciary's priority was to provide justice to the people.

Addressing a legal camp organised by the district bar association here, Mr Karparviyagam said the profession should not be used for earning money.

Urging the need of legal awareness among people, Mr Karpagviyagam said special eforts were needed to educate people about their legal rights.

Comparing Indian law system with other countries like Bangladesh and Pakistan, the Chief Justice said law enforcement in India was more quick.
