Jamuna filed caveat over Moghe's disqualification issue

Bhopal, July 22 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Assembly Opposition Leader Jamuna Devi today said she had filed a caveat apprehending that BJP leader Krishna Murari Moghe would file a petition challenging his disqualification as an MP over office of profit issue.

Ms Devi told reporters here that she had filed a caveat before the Supreme Court and the Madhya Pradesh High Court's Jabalpur and Indore Benches.

The caveat was filed so that her side was also heard if Mr Moghe filed a petition challenging his disqualification.

She said the Union Law and Justice Ministry had published a notification regarding President A PJ Kalam disqualifying Mr Moghe on July 11.

Ms Devi had lodged a complaint to the Election Commission seeking disqualification of Mr Moghe. The Election Commission had sent the complaint to Dr Kalam for recommendation.
