Bangalore, July 22 (UNI) Alleging that the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government at the Centre was peddling soft corner on the activities of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, former external affairs minister Yashwant Sinha today said infiltration of terrorists continued unabated in the trouble state.

Addressing the BJP's State Executive Meeting here, Mr Sinha alleged that Indian soldiers were disheartened to see the unhindred infiltration of terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir, thanks to the soft-cornered policy of the Union Government.

Referring to the recent grenade attack on the pilgrims of Lord Amarnath, Mr Sinha said it was evident that terrorists enjoy free-run in the troubled state, thanks to the UPA Government's soft approach policies in curbing them. The Union Government's attitude had emboldened the Pakistan President Pervez Musharraff to state that Jammu and Kashmir belonged to them.

Accusing that the UPA Government has allowed itself to United States to dictate India's foreign policies and also criticised India's Nuclear accord with it. ''By signing nuclear deal with United States the UPA Government had mortgaged country's interest'' he charged.

Referring to Bangalore link in International terrorist activities Mr Sinha has charged that policy of Congress on terrorism had encouraged the anti-national elements and the iconic city had become a breeding ground for extremists.
