Indian killed in fire in oil terminal
New Delhi, Jul 22 (UNI) An Indian worker was among four people killed in a blaze at Saudi Arabia's Ras Tanura oil terminal owned by state-owned oil giant Saudi Aramco.
A Saudi Aramco statement said the Indian was killed along with two Filipinos and a Sri Lankan. The fire injured 12 workers.
The fire started yesterday morning, 0930 local time during maintenance work.
Six Indians, four Sri Lankans, a Bangladeshi and a Saudi official from Aramco were among the injured, the statement said.
Aramco said the fire has not affected production and loading work as the blaze was brought under control.
A probe by a committee is on to ascertain the cause of the fire, the statement added.
