Heroin worth Rs 50 lakh recovered

Noida, July 22 (UNI) The police today claimed to have recovered heroin worth Rs 50 lakh from a drug peddler in Gautam Budh Nagar.

According to police, they got a tip off about movements of one drug peddler Javed in sector 37. They swung into action and apprehended the accused. A search yielded half kg of heroin. Its estimated price is about Rs 50 lakh.

Javed is reported to have said that his customers were the visitors to night clubs and hotels in Delhi and Noida.
