Gorkha Rifles and police recover bombs, suspect KLO's hand
Coochbehar, Jul 22 (UNI) In one of its joint operations, Gorkha Rifles and police unearthed four bombs today from a forest near Madhya Haldibari under Kumargram police station in Jalpaiguri-Alipurduar subdivision.
The powerful crude bombs were recovered from a forest near Sankosh river, Superintendent of Police S Tripurari said here.
Police suspect the hands of Kamtapur Liberalisation Organisation (KLO) behind this.
Army Intelligence sources said the suspects had hatched a plan to blast the railway tracks of Kamakhaguri Railway station.
The work of defusing the bombs were on, police informed.
