'Everybody Loves Raymond' takes final bow

Mumbai, July 22 (UNI) 'Everybody Loves Raymond', a winner of 15 Emmys and a People's Choice award for Favourite Comedy, being telecast on Star World, has entered the final season, which will commence from tomorrow.

Star World, in a release here yesterday, said the final season of 'Everybody Loves Raymond' will see Ray's prying parents, Marie and Frank, move to a retirement home in New Jersey, while his brother, Robert, takes up residence across the street, and more.

'Everybody Loves Raymond', a sitcom that The New York Times described as ''the sitcom of our times'', is a ground-breaking series which had won fans for its ensemble cast, zinger-filled scripts and keen observations on suburban life. When the finale was aired in the US, the episode attracted over 32 million viewers.

Raymond... will be premiered on Monday at 2030 hrs, on Tuesday at 0330 hrs, on Friday at 1300 hrs and on Saturday at 0530 hrs, the release added.
