Bahadurgarh (Jhajjar), July 22: Alleging large scale corruption in the process of allotment of land for the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) to be developed by the Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Company at Gurgaon, suspended Congress MP from Bhiwani, Kuldeep Bishnoi today categorically stated that Congress President Sonia Gandhi was 'party to the deal.'

"Besides Sonia, The Congress partys incharge of Haryana affairs Janardhan Dwivedi and Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda were also parties to the deal with Mukesh Ambani and the trio received money as part of this deal" Mr Bishnoi, the son of former Chief minister Bhajan Lal said while talking to media persons after addressing an impressive 'Ekta rally' organised by his supporter and prominent local leader Ashok Gupta here.

Mr Bihnoi minced no words in reiterating that money reached Ms Gandhi, Mr Dwivedi and Mr Hooda as part of the deal with Mukesh Ambani whose Reliance Company was alloted land worth Rs 6000 crore at a throw away price of Rs 320 crore for setting up a SEZ in Gurgaon.

Claiming that he was threatened to remain silent over the SEZ issue, Mr Bishnoi said that he was shocked when the UPA Chairperson herself asked him to stop talking on the SEZ issue. The decision of the Hooda government to transfer land at a throwaway price to Reliance in a hurry without even waiting for the Union Government's relief and rehabilitation policy for the farmers whose land had acquired for the purpose, amply demonstrated that money changed hands, he alleged.

Mr Bishnoi who had been suspended from the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) for spearheading a campaign against the party government in Haryana and even criticising the Congress party chief.

Replying to a question regarding floating a new party, Mr Bishnoi said that he had already held meetings in 44 out of 90 constituencies in the state to seek the people's blessings and the announcement regarding his future programme of action would be made at a rally in Mr Hooda's home town, Rohtak, after covering all the assembly constituences.

Earlier addressing the rally, Mr Bishnoi lambasted the Hooda led Congress government charging it with failure on all fronts. Law and order situation had been worsening as reflected by the rising crime graph, he claimed and adding that on an average there were 18 incidents of murder everyday in different parts of the state.

This reflected that either the chief minister was not having any control over the law and order machinery or he himself was in league with criminals, he alleged while demanding Mr Hooda's resignation.

The rally was also addressed by former HPCC President Dharam Pal Malik, convenor Ashok Gupta and a few former Haryana ministers and MLAs perceived to be close to Mr Bhajan Lal.
