31 flood posts created

Siddharthnagar, July 22 (UNI) In order to provide help to the victims of flood, at least 31 flood posts have been established here.

District Magistrate Chob Singh Verma today told UNI that nine posts had been created at Mehdaval and Khalilabad tehsils, whereas Ghanghata had 13 flood posts.

To render proper facilities to the flood affected people, 139 officials and other workers had been inducted, besides making a teams under Sub Divisional Magistrates (SDO) for protection of dams from any damages.

In addition, control chambers had been created at district headquarters to deal with natural disasters and infectious diseases.
