Teachers set ablaze book on sex education
Bulandshahr, July 21 (UNI) Teachers and Shikshak Dal (SD) leaders today staged demonstration at the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) office and set ablaze study material on sex education.
Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shikshak Sangh president and SD leader in Vidhan Parishad Om Prakash Sharma led the procession demanding total ban on sex education, besides terminating teachers and principals serving on ad hoc basis.
They also demanded that teaching and non-teaching staff in unaided schools, that confirm to a set standards, be given grants and those employed there be given all service facilities.
They opposed commercialisation of the school and college land anywhere.
Sangh vice president Hem Singh Pundir was also present.
