Syndicate Bank pays Rs 45.10 crore dividend

New Delhi, July 21: Syndicate Bank today presented a 13 per cent final dividend cheque of Rs 45.10 crore to the Government.

Bank's Chairman and Managing Director C P Swarnkar presented the cheque to Finance Minister P Chidambaram.

The bank had earlier paid an interim dividend of 15 per cent amounting Rs 52.04 crore. With this the total dividend paid to the government for the full year 2006-07 is 28 per cent at Rs 97.14 crore.

Bank's government Nominee Director M Deena Dayalan, Executive Director George Joseph and General Manager (Delhi) Srihari Bhat were present on the occasion.
